Tough fishing, but still a good overall trip.

The fish are on the move from the southern portions of Lake Michigan through local ports.

Weather has made temperatures and depths a challenge to master, but we still located a good catch of Lake Trout in 80-100 FOW on the bottom straight out of Saugatuck.

Spin doctors and Whirly-Gigs were the most productive on this overcast rainy day.

The fishing is starting to look good for the upcoming weekend as the late spring has kept the cooler temperatures around longer and delayed the main spring catch.
