With 1-2 foot seas and some overcast skies for the weekend, the weather couldn’t be much better for a tournament in the end of April in Lake Michigan.

We were able to stay near shore and put a good catch on the boat for the Michigan City pre-tournament trail tournament. It wasn’t the best of the boats, but it was good enough to get us third place at 49.75 lbs with our 5 fish mix.

The tournament trail kicks off next week and we look forward to trying to improve our place along the next tournaments!
